Prints of the iconic 1987 polaroid Roller Rover are available now on 20 x 200! Here's what WW says about creating the piece:
"I happened to have two pair of matching roller skates when I brought Fay to the Polaroid 20x24 studio at 588 Broadway that day in 1987, but was not expecting her to actually be able to perform in them as well as she did. The trick was to tilt the back skate to thwart the rolling. I took four or five shots, and the best was this version, with her head looking back. Fay was about a year and a half old and had the ideal figure for skating, I think."
Dear William,
Apologies for posting this as a message but we were unable to find another way to contact you. You have been nominated by our Challenge Committee to submit a doodle for the Celebrity Doodle Challenge benefiting Shriners Hospital for Children, USA and The Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family, Cyprus.
All the doodles will be exhibited and then auctioned (January 9-19th, 2015) with the proceeds going to the charities. We are in the process of organizing events with the children being helped by the charities where their doodles will also be auctioned to their families and friends. (The identity of the children will be protected at all times).
We would be thrilled and honored if you would accept the challenge and nominate two friends and associates on your social media. The original doodle would then be mailed to us for exhibition and posting to the highest bidder.
We have had a wonderful response thus far and look forward to raising a generous amount in order to cover items on the charities wish-lists.
We thank you for considering our request and look forward to hearing from you.
Kindest regards,
Anna Georghallides/Linda Gibson Judd

I HAVE ENJOYED WILLIAMS WORK OR PLAY FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE MOST OF THE BOOKS, BIG COFFEE TABLE ONES, AND SEVERAL OF THE VHS VIDEOS. THE ONE ON CAPTAIN KANGAROO REALLY BROUGHT BACK A LOT OF MEMORIES. SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF THE MAIN MOMMY. THE PUPPIES ARE BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
