The newest member of the Wegman family: Flo!
Flo is eight weeks old, and was brought to the studio by breeder Brian Meany for a photo shoot. She turned out to be such a star, we couldn't bear to let her leave!
Because of their close friendship, Brian had named Flo's dam after Virginia Alexander. Flo's official pedigree is Axel's Peerless Ginny von Upland x Ch. Weatherrun's Six Pack Hemi.
Flo is having a wonderful time exploring her new home and getting to know the other dogs, Bobbin, Candy and Penny. She is a natural in front of the camera, as you can see from the photos above. She is a happy and confident girl who fits in perfectly with her new family.
We are all thrilled to have Flo join us here at the studio!
Check back next week for stories and pictures from the puppy shoot, featuring Flo and her sisters.

OH! That makes me want a new Weim!!!!! Love my Girls but oh what fun a new puppy would be!

Bill & Flo great pictures! My Gunner (Weim) is 19 months old and I have more than a thousand pictures of him. Weims are so photogenic and full of personality. You are tempting me to get another after seeing the pictures of Flo. I am sure Gunner would enjoy having another Weim in the household.

I am in love with Flo! She is so adorable and I just love the name. Some day.. some day.. when I have a house :).. I'll have a weimaraner and she's gonna have to have a photography-inspired name. :)

Congratulations! It's always important to go with the Flo. The hammock shot is fantastic.

Well, there is only one Wegman. All those hundreds + photographs in the FB albums with 'good' shots, but not the Wegman magic.Flo is gorgeous, however your 'touch' adds another dimension. Thank-you for sharing these lovely images.(I am sure Virginia is looking down and is pleased). We all crave for more (photographs) and wait in anticipation, just like our keen dogs.(Would love to be on the sets when you take these photographs and listen to the conversations). Lots and lots and lots of images of Flo as she grows.(The dog is a reflection of the owner's personality as well as their own.)

Congrats on the new pup! We just met Brian yesterday and picked up Flo's sister. We are now the proud household of two pups that you have photographed. Axel's Upland Camden Von Reiteralm was in two of your puppy calendars (2009 and 2010) and is now a Field Trial dog and we are hoping her new sister follows in her foot steps!

I could not of found a better or more suitable home for Flo. Bill has a wonderfully family and staff who will certainly surround her with love, as they do with all their own dogs and visiting pups. I have had the privilege to participate and observe Bill at work in his studio with the pups and dogs on many occasions, for many years. Care, and respect for the animals is always evident, in fact the older dogs frequently want to be a part of the happenings in that true Weimaraner way. To my surprise I have seen Bill, without hesitation or regret, interrupt a truly promising puppy shot and let Bobbin, Candy or Penny satisfy their immediate need to share the limelight in front of the camera. The dogs always come first, and are never not at his side. I am certain that Flo will be a happy modeling subject as well as another loyal Weimaraner companion to Bill and his loving family. I look forward to seeing the many years of Flo photos to come. Brian Meany, Upland Weimaraners

We have always loved your photos. And, we are so glad you love Flo! We also loved Hemi's personality right away! Six years later, he is still the light of our lives. As Hemi's people, I'm sure Flo will also be one of the most loving, lovable and fun Weims there are. Congrats!
